this has really been my biggest concern with the congressional activities concerning the bajillion dollar bailout. i'm all for the domestic relief, social programs, and job creations that it will bring. but i can't fathom the ridiculousness of these wall streeters who are using our money for the purposes that Senator McCaskill mentions. more funny coverage of the senate lioness here.

i love old women, in a non-creepy way.

i guess we should apologize for not posting, like ever. but we are working on our senior honors theses. and desperation has set in: coffee, cigarettes, and whiskey providing temporary albeit necessary relief. i know that all 2.4 readers of this blog have been anxiously awaiting our next post. anyway, i saw this hilarious video on the dish. watch it and see why i love old women.




on to crooked politics:

i thought the whole point of MAEP was to make it illegal to NOT fully fund public education in Mississippi. i guess appeasing the wealthy tobacconists is more important to Haley & Phil than making sure our fourth graders can read. link.

more here on why it is getting harder and harder to attract any type of legitimate business to this state. the prospects are not lookin so good for a fresh grad!
